SIG Objectives:
- Promote patient-oriented research that specifically targets improving the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and management of children with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome
- Improve seizure, cognitive, behavioral and functional outcomes for children with LGS through collaborative research.
Current Projects and Collaborations:
- Tonic seizures as a biomarker for LGS
- Developing an LGS functional outcome measure to track therapeutic response
Plans for Future Projects:
- Expansion of biomarker development to multisite studies
