Cook Children’s is proud to support the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Consortium’s Annual Retreat for its members. We are excited to bring together leaders in pediatric epilepsy who will teach you how to effectively communicate goals and objectives in multicenter collaborative research projects, design and carry out research in pediatric epilepsy, as well as identify and apply for external funding for these projects. Our speakers will include M. Scott Perry, M.D., from Cook Children’s Hospital, Renée Shellhaas, M.D., M.S., from Washington University School of Medicine, Zachary Grinspan, M.D., from Weill Cornell Medical Center, Madison Berl, Ph.D., from Children’s National Hospital and Stephanie Rau, CCRP from the University of Michigan. We hope you will take advantage of this unique opportunity to network with your peers and engage with these distinguished experts.
Registration and attendance fees for this conference have been waived due to the generosity of Cook Children’s Hospital and PERC. Travel and hotel fees are the responsibility of each member. In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cook Children’s Health Care System and the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Consortium. Cook Children’s Health Care System is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
